Phoenix, AZ, July 23 —
It is that time of year again for the Arizona Painting Company to Paint It Forward! We are giving back to the community by donating a $5,000 painting project to a deserving Arizona charity. While we read through hundreds of nominations, we’ve selected a fantastic charity with an incredible story of compassion and strength. With a fresh coat of paint, the Arizona Painting Company hopes to add another layer of support to all those who have benefited from Sunshine Acres Children’s Home.
Introducing Sunshine Acres Children’s Home
In 1953, after 17 years of praying for a place where they could care for homeless children, Reverend James and Vera Dingman sold their home and made a down payment on 125 acres of Arizona desert with a few worn-down buildings. The following year they opened Sunshine Acres Children’s Home and the “Miracle in the Desert” was born. It has become a place where no child is turned away due to financial reasons and they can grow their faith.
Sunshine Acres Children’s Home provides a loving, wholesome, Christian home for children who have separated from their parents. The sole purpose is to help these children develop long-term relationships with stable parental figures that will help prepare them to succeed.
The Project
After hearing about the mission of Sunshine Acres Children’s Home, Arizona Painting Company knew they were the right choice for the 2019 Paint It Forward. The organization depends entirely on charitable donations. Joe Campbell, Owner of Arizona Painting Company, wanted to provide more motivation for the community to take pride in taking care of each other. Arizona Painting Company joins Sunshine Acres in ensuring the children have a quality, comfortable place to call home.
We Thank the Communities We Serve
